The Silo Restaurant was originally built in 1967 by the Walters-Ceplo-Hingus family and was called "Ye Olde Silo". Ye Olde Silo restaurant closed in 1972 and stood vacant until October 1973, when Stanley and Mae Kurz of Oak Ridge, NJ, purchased it.
